Online sales and operations
NAJMA MARKET
A food wholesaler runs its stock and warehouses in one place, and traces its halal lots. Its customers can order online and pick up on site.
The problem
Stock was managed by guesswork. Each warehouse kept to itself, with its own file and no idea what the others had. Products near their expiration date got noticed too late.
The difference
- All three warehouses show on one screen, and no warehouse can transfer stock it doesn’t have.
- Short-dated products get flagged before they expire, with the markdown to apply.
- A pallet can’t be received without its temperature reading and photos.
- Every halal lot carries its own code, and customers can see where it came from.
