Job tracking and website
COQUINA SOLAR & AIR
A solar installer tracks its jobs, schedule, quotes and time entries in its in-house software. The public website takes in quote requests.
The problem
Crews spent their days on rooftops and solar farms. Time on each job went into a notebook, when it went anywhere at all, and nobody could say how long a job had actually taken.
Site survey, quote, schedule and follow-up all lived in separate tools. The field and the office weren’t looking at the same day.
The difference
- Crews clock in on site, from their phones; time spent is visible job by job.
- Each job’s page shows where it stands; crew days come straight from the time entries.
- The signed quote becomes the invoice and the job, without retyping a line.
- The schedule runs week by week and flags anyone booked on two jobs on the same day.
